Creepy conversation I had with creepy customer at work today... Creepy Guy: Do you have any egg nog? Me: ::pointedly looking @ closed sign:: Not anymore. Creepy Guy: Why? Me: Because its a seasonal drink. We can't get egg nog from the stores anymore. Creepy Guy: Why? Its a cold weather drink. You should have it all winter. Me: ::start to explain:: Creepy Guy: ::interrupts:: Well what do you have here that will get me worked up? Me: ::trying to avoid looking at drool collecting on Creepy Guy's lips but fails because he's like 3 inches from my face:: Ummm.. We're actually closed right now. Creepy Guy: You don't like me do you? Me: What? No. Creepy Guy: Are you married? Me: ..No. Creepy Guy: Are you looking to get married? Me: 0_0 Not right now! Creepy Guy: Ah! They say that it's your birthday...
I had a super happy day today! My parents made me drunken french toast for breakfast, then I dressed up all pretty and got together with Tara, Kimberley, Cammie & David an we all went to Benihana for lunch. I had tasty sushi and public humiliation then off to see X-men 3. And they were playing Enya in the theater before the movie! Its really stupid but everytime I hear Enya it always makes me happy for no reason. It would have been perfect except there was no Nightcrawler love for me in X3, but I can't really complain... Yay! SO FULL OF RAGE!!!!!
So, while I was out walking the insane dog today and diving into bushes while he decided to chase bull moose down the middle of the walking path, somebody decides to smash out the front passenger side window of my car and steal my brand new purse. If it was just the purse and my wallet it wouldn't have been so bad, but it had my FUCKING KNITTING in it!! I was almost done with it too. T_T And not only that but in the process of smashing the window or throwing the rest of my stuff onto the floor a can of soda I had in one bag exploded and soaked all my brand new manga I just bought. I just found out that today was Peter's, as in my annoying manager who cuts my hours and never gives me a straight answer to why I don't work anywhere else in the store except the registers, last day at work. "Why is all the rum gone?"
I got up 3 hours early today (which I NEVER do) and spent all my free time before I have to go to work making a fantastically complicated dessert which I don't even get to eat. Chocolate Phyllo Pockets w/ Pineapple & Raspberry Compote, and for some reason I could not find the rum for the ganache, hmmmm..... (I did finally find a tiny bottle of it in the back of the liqueur cabinet) Off to work! Current Mood: hmmm....Current Music: i'm late! ahhhhhhhh!!!! |
