    More stuff for Pyramid Scheme
Omg ahh I had the hardest time with this because there are scant references for barrel chested men ( I didn't know it was a deformity what)

Anyways here is Boss he is a Gremlin. Representing the hard middle class working man. Where hardwork and perseverance will get you ahead. Adverse where his son is just sheerly weird talents.

Boss  was one of the best, because of it everyone has called him Boss for so long he forgot his real name. He also scored the prettiest gremlin trophy wife he could get to fetch him a beer and a sandwich and was living the high life. And oh happy day-a Son! The ploys of running a father son business bubbled in his head gleefully as he sucked on a stogy and bragged to the Gremlin neighborhood.

But when he discovered there was something very wrong with his son when he got older. He was autistic, and could only put things TOGETHER instead of pulling them apart. Such out of this world crazy and practically useless in the eyes of any Gremlin. Not only that his wife left him and he was laughed out of the Gremlin community. Shamed, he went to an abandoned hanger with his son in hopes to get it through his head the proper way a Gremlin should be. And reclaim his glory when he finally gets it through his sons head  that Gremlins take things APART and begin their business.

So he could rub it in everyone's face that laughed at him before.

    And thats his backstory/setup

I'm the colourist and Bg guy for the comic so were trying to solidify the color schemes for each one.

Man I keep misspelling his name and will have to hunt down my Beasts! tomes to look it up. Then I will have his whole story for you guys.

Also Alg's we will be swinging by sometime Wednesdaayyy.

Also ordering some more books- More on Language of Film to help boost my knowledge of storyboarding up. Nubbas been helping me IMMENSELY since this is his major.

I will put shoes on my hands and punchkick you in the face.
I hope everyone is having a Merry Christmas because I am.

I got some great gifts like Kung Fu Panda Artbook, A bitching Coat, a red scarf, Little Big Planet for PSP, and a bunch of vidya for my sisters like TF2 and final fantasy games and WOW for my mom. And new Super Mario Bros Wii for everyone.

Its been a blast going to knock some work out of the way in a few minutes so me and him can settle down after the whole OMG I CAN TOUCH YOU, THIS IS KINDA OF COOL is phasing down and we should be getting more serious about work. And we are cooking all sorts of crazy things. We picked up Eel and Octopus today and have been making Milk Tea/Thai Tea with Boba in it everyday.

I want to cook him some butternut squash sometime the way we did as kids. We also make some bitching Spinach Pizza for everyone the other day.  And take him to that Wing place, Wing King thats pretty close by. Though he misses the authentic Mexican food he had down in Sandie Eggo he sure is liking it here. We just finished watching both seasons of Pushing Up Daises and oh god it is an adorably cute murder mystery show. He also has Extra's and some other movies, but it's just nice curling up and being jerks to each other all night and day. I forget how physical I am and will just whap him one. There is a bunch of other romantic mush I can toss in here but I'll spare you. I also got to drag over and show off my new male bitch guy to Algy sometime.

Right now Nubba is giving me a massage so I can write nice things about him. Nubba is a nice guy. The End.
You don't have to keep writing what I'm telling you, alot of gibberish father some more gibberish.

Also Dawn of Mana: Indian dude collecting poker chips. Like for gambling.
    El oh El.

    Christmas Eve

It being Christmas Eve and all, I was thinking of this Christmas story and drew it up. I meant to draw it nicer, but didn't get time.  It's about family.

under the cut, because it's big )

If it helps to understand it better, I am the second oldest of four girls.

Merry Christmas, everyone! To you and yours.

The last man to lose his head, I suppose he deserved it

A Scottish cartoon, since I am back home for the holidays.

I'm well acquainted with the tune "Lord Lovat's Lament," since you hear it around these parts every time anyone has to pick up a fiddle and learn something. But you know, it's one of those tunes you know so well, you pay no attention to it, it's just there in the back of your head.

Then one day, I was looking up a bunch of works by Hogarth (the best) and came upon this portrait of 'Lord Lovat'. The lovely old tune and that devily face, they didn't match. So I wanted to learn more about him!

Lovat (Simon Fraser, born 1697 - there are about a million Simon Fraser Lord Lovats) really epitomizes how reading Scottish history can make you want to tear your eyeballs out, or laugh because it's nearly a farce it's so nutty. Either the people involved are disastrously loyal, or disastrously duplicitous. Everything is a disaster, but it's a hell of a ride.

Elemental Magic is next BUT FOR TOMMORROW. It's been in my computer since Comicon ( I got the book for Nubba to help with his animation classes- But took pictures of the whole book for myself so I can improve on special effects for comics/illustration) but I been lazy to edit it.

Also picking up this book today off amazon- http://parkablogs.com/content/book-review-imaginative-realism-how-paint-what-doesnt-exist
It was recommended to me by this guy ♥ Who convinced me with Loom to go to Watts Atelier next summer once I settle in moving to California

Also I'm being commissioned for some more Character Sheets. Neat!

Also when we move  I want to find a place where I can either do kick boxing or some form of martial art. Too get me out and keep me fit. Maybe even belly dancing.

    me im simple person
SO MUCH TOO DO STILL. Well not really just Air Mattress + Cleaning.

Fuck he is so adorkable. Every time he comes and picks me up there is always a flower in his hand for me Roses or Tiger lilies. And artbooks, that boy ALWAYS buys me an artbook to take back home. Shadowline, (Iain Mc Caig!! ♥)  Sex and Science ( hahah this was awesome considering how low brow it was but the top notch animators that were in it ), Claire Wendlings Daisies ( I have almost allllllllll her books she is one of my top favorite artists ever), and so many golden others. And he just doesn't know what to do with himself so he's just a general mess of stumbling smiles.

Aughglgghgl my cute little animator wife ♥

I still want to make the Rosary walkcycle my icon, but he's like really bashful about putting his kickass animations up. He's actually pretty damn good. I've never seen his work cleaner then when he's animating. But he does it all traditional. When I was a guest at one of his animation classes I was able to do it too! I got to say traditional animation is more fun then on the computer. ALOT more room for mistakes but I had fun drawing a yawning minotaur. I was so sad when class was up because I wanted to finish his foot clomping while he was yawning.

Also I might get some more DVD's for Christmas off Massive Black there are two I'm eyeing but I will patiently wait for a sale.

Also since I'm usually trying to be the educational type with every LJ post-

"The secret to capturing the essence of what you are looking at can be found in your high school yearbook.

Fred Fixler would have us look at our high school yearbooks and find that page that has everyone in our grade standing together in one big group shot.

"Can you find yourself?" he would ask. Yes, we could.

"Can you find your friends?" Yeah.

What's the point? Well, in those photos your head is almost the size of a pea - if not smaller! And yet, without seeing eyelashes, nostrils, pupils in the eyes, or any other details, you recognize people you haven't seen in years! Yet, most of us sit in front of a model drawing the most unimportant details and miss the simple overall shapes that form the essence of who we are observing.

    Details are not the answer.

    Thanks, Fred."

With life drawing one book told me when your doing gesture study your studying how the masses move unique to them.  It's how your able to identify someone from very far away. And how that's essential to capturing the soul of that person. Just like how everyone has a unique way of shadows forming on our face due to our underlying form having light casted on it.

Also unique silhouetting too, due to how everyones bodies are kind of different. There just alot to attribute to this.

Also I want to write a dude about having 9 lives. Like he moved around and tried settling around in different places until he decided it wasn't him and on the 9th life he decided this was the one.  But then conflict occurs when his other lives come to haunt him. There is probably a book out on this already. IDK I came up with the ideal chatting with my sister on the way to the store.
